This exceptional Colt Python revolver includes a factory letter that confirms the serial number, caliber, bright stainless steel finish, grips, and June 6, 2016 date of shipment to Newington Gun Exchange of Newington, Connecticut, for Kevin Langevin, Colt's VP of New Product Development. The letter further remarks that this revolver was part of a sale of firearms from the Colt Engineering Archive Collection to Colt employees. The archives collection was used by the engineering and historical departments as reference pieces. They were also utilized by the company as display pieces. 1 of 150. Fixed ramp front and adjustable rear notch sights, "PYTHON ELITE/*.357 MAGNUM*" and one-line address markings on the left and right sides of the ported barrel, serrated trigger and cylinder catch, and a wide checkered hammer. Colt custom finger groove grips with inset silver medallions. With original white shipping sleeve and blue Colt box.

Near new in box with only light handling marks and some small rotation marks on the cylinder. Box is very good with light storage marks.
