Description:

Produced by California gunsmith John Martz using a combination of military, commercial and new made components. This Luger follows the late WWI Artillery pattern closely, with the addition of the Martz Safe Toggle Release mechanism and a slightly shorter than standard barrel chambered for 7.65mm. Tangent sights, "crown/N" on the left side of the blank chamber, "DWM" toggle link, Imperial Eagle on the breechblock, "MSTR" and "JVM" on the left side of the frame, "Germany" on the right, straw and niter blue finished small parts, checkered grips with smooth borders and "JVM" markings on the back, and a "2/JVM" marked magazine.

Rating Definition:

Near mint, with 98% plus quality custom blue finish, showing some light handling and cycling wear overall. The grips are also excellent, with fine grain and sharp checkering. The hold open needs adjustment, otherwise mechanically fine.
