Originally manufactured by Mauser, this P-38 has been custom reworked by California gunsmith John Martz, who significantly reduced the overall dimensions of the pistol without sacrificing the distinct profile. Measuring 6 3/4 inches in total length and 4 7/8 inches tall, "JVM" and "62" in ovals on the right side of the frame, mixed "359" and "135" Nazi proofs, checkered fancy grips and a "JVM" marked magazine shortened to match the grip frame.

Near mint as custom upgraded by John Martz with a fine bright appearance overall showing some minor spotting and handling marks. The grips are very fine with attractive grain and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
