Manufactured in 1955. Standard S&W markings, Magna grips numbered to a different gun, and matching serial numbers on the butt, cylinder, and barrel. The factory gold box is numbered to a different gun and has an end label for a 4 inch barreled Combat Masterpiece.

Excellent. The revolver retains 98% original blue finish showing some wear at the muzzle and on the back strap and a cylinder drag line. Nearly all original case colors remain on the hammer and trigger. The grips are fine with a small chip missing near the top (right panel), a series of shallow dings on the bottoms and crisp checkering overall. Mechanically excellent. The box is fine showing some scattered minor wear. Nearly all of the end label remains.
