Manufactured from 1915 to 1942. Standard S&W markings, matching serial numbers on the butt, right grip panel (in pencil), cylinder and barrel. The un-numbered factory box has a correct end label.

Excellent. The revolver retains 95% original blue finish showing noticeable thinning on the grip straps, a few small patches of pitting/spotting on the barrel and a cylinder drag line. Most of the original case colors remain on the hammer and trigger. The grips are also excellent with crisp checkering overall. Mechanically excellent. The box is very good with two split corners, glue repairs, some minor-moderate wear and retaining most of the end label.
