Dated "1915", with the original arsenal marking removed during the installation of a set of lightly engraved double-claw scope bases on the receiver ring and rear bridge. A set of "lion" proofs are present on the receiver and the underside of the bolt handle, and matching full and partial numbers are present on a number of parts, including the stock. Fitted with a smooth pistol grip stock, with "2" ink marked on the left side, an unmarked steel plate on the right, and a flat buttplate.

Very fine, with 70% plus original blue finish, showing some areas of brown and gray patina, mild pitting on the buttplate, and some light spotting on the receiver. The rear sling swivel is cracked, and the very fine stock shows some light dents and scuffs. Mechanically excellent.
