Manufactured for commercial sale, this pistol is chambered in the less common 9mm Kurz (aka 380 ACP), with the serrated heel magazine catch in lieu of the more standard PP/PPK button catch. Fixed sights, with the Walther banner, two-line address/model marking and "Mod.PP" on the left side of the slide, "crown/N" proofs on the muzzle, chamber hood and slide, and the matching hand-scribed number on the interior of the slide. The frame and magazine are properly without provision for a button catch, but the left grip panel is notched for the button. Fitted with a 60 degree safety, checkered Walther banner grips, and two correct properly marked 9mm magazines, correctly devoid of conventional magazine catch notches, one with a black plastic grip extension, the other with a flat steel base.

Very fine, with 95% plus of the blue finish, showing a few patches of brown patina on the back and top rear of the slide and top rear frame, bright edge wear and mild handling marks overall. A few dings are visible on the backs of the frame rails, and the chamber hood shows mild wear and spotting. The grips are also very fine, with a few light scuffs. Mechanically excellent.
