Proofed and serialized for commercial sale, this Model 1908 commercial pistol has a replacement 7.65 mm six inch Navy length barrel and the two position rear sight on the rear toggle link. The top of the chamber is blank, with a "DWM" marked toggle, "crown/N" proofs on the barrel, extension, breechblock and front toggle link, with matching commercial pattern serial numbers. The small parts are finished in straw or niter blue, with a pair of checkered grips and a nickel finished magazine with an unmarked concentric circle decorated hardwood base.

Very fine as rebarreled, with 90% of the blue finish, with some mild spotting concentrated on the grip straps, bright wear along the high edges and some light handling marks overall. 75% of the original finish is present on the small parts, with a mixed patina on the screw heads, and the grips are also very fine, with a few dark spots and dings on the crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
