Produced by Berlin-Lubecker (qve) on a rough forged receiver, marked "K. 43 qve 45", with a single bolt guide, bolt carrier latch on the right side, hollow cocking knob, machined receiver cover, right side mounting rail, unthreaded muzzle and an "aye" code magazine. Hooded front sight and military tangent rear sight graduated from 100-1200. The stock is made of laminated wood, with a cupped trapdoor buttplate. An extra magazine is included.

Fine, with 70% of the original blue finish, showing areas of gray and brown patina, bright edge wear and some mild handling marks. The receiver cover is hand-numbered to the rifle. A pair of swivel base holes have been drilled into the underside of the stock, possibly for installing a set of American-style sporting sling swivels; the rear hole goes through the center of the serial number, with the surviving digits being a match for the rifle. Otherwise, the stock is very good, with some dents and scratches. Mechanically fine.
