Blade front and red painted notch rear sights, with the left side of the slide marked with the Walther Banner followed by the factory legend and caliber in two lines and the model designation, "crown/ N" commercial proofs on the slide, muzzle and chamber. (Early production 90 degree safety and small hole style hammer are also features on this pistol). Frame is numbered vertically on the right side ahead of the grip, with the proper final three digits on the inside of the slide, and an additional matching number between the serrations and ejection port on the outside of the slide. The magazine also has a properly colored base, numbered "777506".

Very fine, with 85% plus of the original blue finish, showing moderate holster wear, with wear on high edges, and the start of a gray patina on the front strap. Grips are fine with some minor pressure dents. Mechanically excellent.
