Manufactured in 1927. Single bead sight on the concave matte rib marked "PARKER BROS. MAKERS. MERIDEN. CT. U.S.A. ACME. STEEL," 2 3/4 inch chambers, automatic ejectors, standard markings on the flats, and full/full chokes. There are 2 3/4 inch wedges of fine scroll on each barrel just forward of the breech. Water table is marked with the one-line patent marking on the right and "BH/219783/5" on the left. Fully engraved receiver with hunting dogs on the sides and two ducks in flight on the underside. The scenes are surrounded with tight flowing scroll with gold accented "PARKER BROS" markings on each side. The serial number is also non-factory gold accented. Fancy fleur-de-lis checkered beavertail forearm with matching numbered engraved fitting and pistol grip stock with fleur-de-lis relief carved and checkered flats, brass inscription plate on the grip cap, and solid rubber recoil pad. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .735/.734 inch; minimum wall thickness .052/.052; drop at comb 1 5/8 inches; drop at heel 2 3/8 inches; length of pull 14 1/8 inches.

Fine. 99% of the refinished blue finish remains with some light spots along the rib, oxidation at the muzzle and breech, and sharp markings. Significant rough oxidation in the right barrel and some in the left as well. The receiver has 30% original muted case colors with a smooth dove gray patina on the balance, sharp engraving, and traces of light spotting. The refinished wood is also fine with freshened checkering, scattered small dings, and rough cut borders on the checkering. Mechanically excellent.
