Manufactured in 1910. With dual bead sights on a solid concave matte rib. The top of the rib is marked "PARKER BROS.MAKERS.MERIDEN. CONN. TITANIC STEEL" The barrels are choked full/full with 2 3/4 inch chambers and ejectors. The receiver is engraved with dogs on point in a field scene on both the left and right sides with the Parker Brothers banner. The underside is engraved with four pheasants. The rest of the action is engraved with a tight swirling scroll pattern. The trigger guard, fences and break lever are similarly engraved. With a single selective trigger and automatic thumb safety. Mounted on a multi-point checkered beavertail forearm with engraved hardware and pistol grip stock with tear drop flats, sling swivel studs on the barrel and stock, Parker Brothers hard rubber grip cap, blank initial oval and a solid rubber recoil pad. Length of pull is 13 1/4 inches.

Very good as professionally partially refinished with 99% of the blue. With some light handling marks and an area of light pitting that has been cleaned and blued on the underside of the barrels, the outline of which suggests this was once fitted with a smaller splinter type forearm. The frame has areas of vibrant case colors with the balance aged to a mostly uniform silver/gray patina. The wood is very good with nice grain, some small indentations, a hairline crack in the forearm, small gouge on the left buttstock and general handling marks. The left side of the buttstock end has several small chips from when the stock was shortened and the recoil pad installed. There is an extra screw through the serial number on the lower tang. Mechanically fine.
