Manufactured in 1963. Very early "dash 2" variation with original diamond Magna grips, standard S&W markings and right grip numbered to gun.

Excellent, retaining 99% plus original blue and casehardened finishes showing a tiny spot of surface rust on the trigger guard and a cylinder drag line. The grips are very fine with a 1/4 inch long very narrow slit present on both panels along the front edge. The checkering is crisp. Mechanically excellent.
