Manufactured in 1899. German silver blade and elevation adjustable sights on a barrel marked with the two-line address/patent dates marking, "SPECIAL SMOKELESS STEEL" and "25-36 M." The top of the receiver is marked "MARLIN SAFETY," and the upper tang is marked "MODEL /1893." The smooth straight grip stock is fitted with a crescent buttplate.

Excellent. 95% plus original blue finish remains on the barrel, magazine and forend cap with minor thinning on the balance. The remaining surfaces retain 90% plus original case colors. The freshened wood is very fine with a shallow scuff mark on the forearm (left side) and some minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent. This Model 1893 will make an attractive addition to your lever action collection.
