The included factory letter states the revolver was shipped from the factory in October of 1955. Wide base, ramp front and Micro adjustable rear notch sights, type 2 ejector rod housing, type 1 ejector rod with serrated square thumb piece, standard two-line address on left side of barrel, standard frame markings, serrated hammer spur with polished sides, and black anodized grip frame. With unnumbered factory box.

Very good. 85% plus original blue finish remains turning to a slight plum tone (common with older Ruger revolvers), areas of edge wear, rotation marks on the cylinder, and handling marks overall. The undersized replacement grips are fair with a repaired break visible on the right panel and some age cracking. Mechanically excellent. Box is very good with corner and edge wear and storage marks.
