The included factory letter states the revolver was shipped in May of 1963 as a model BKH36. The serial number in the letter has been corrected (likely a typo by the Ruger historian). With wide base serrated ramp front and adjustable rear notch sights, second style frame with integral frame ribs, type 3 straight cut ejector rod housing, type 3 ejector rod with flat round head, serrated blue hammer with polished sides, and second style aluminum alloy grip frame. The grip frame is black anodized and the remaining components are blue with a slight plum tint on the loading gate. With unnumbered correct model factory box and papers.

Excellent overall. 99% original blue and black finish remains with some light handling marks, faint cylinder drag line, and some small dings on the grips. Mechanically excellent. Box is very good with corner and edge wear.
