The included factory letter states the revolver was shipped in August of 1957 and that it was sold as a "second" due to minor surface blemishes. This is indicated by the "S" stamped on the underside of the frame ahead of the trigger guard. With narrow base ramp front and Micro adjustable rear notch sights, early pattern flat top frame, type 2 ejector rod housing, type 1 ejector rod with serrated head, blue serrated hammer with polished sides, and aluminum alloy grip frame. The grip frame is anodized black, and the balance is blue with a slight plum tint on the frame. With unnumbered correct model factory box and papers.

Very good with 99% professionally restored blue and black finish with a few light handling marks mostly on the grips. Mechanically excellent. Box is good with corner and edge wear and some light discoloration.
