Manufactured in 1906. Fitted with pinned blade and folding ladder sights, baby carbine 6-shot half magazine and saddle ring on the left side of the receiver. The barrel is marked with the two-line address/patent dates information, "SPECIAL SMOKELESS STEEL" and "38-55."

Fine. 60% thinned original blue finish remains on the barrel and magazine tube and the remaining surfaces retain generous traces of original case colors with the balance silvered out gray. There is some minor spotting. The wood is very good showing some minor handling evidence and retaining much of the finish. Mechanically excellent.
