Description:

These revolvers were manufactured in 1875-1889 as Remington's answer to the Colt Single Action Army and Smith & Wesson No. 3. It has a German silver blade front sight, one-line factory barrel address, top strap groove rear sight, "44" marked on the left side of the frame at the breech, casehardened hammer, blued finish on the balance, and a pair of smooth walnut grips numbered to the gun.

Rating Definition:

Fine with 40% plus of the original blue finish, subtle original case colors on the hammer, and gray and brown patina on the balance along with some patches of minor pitting, general surface scratches and marks, and distinct markings. The grips are also fine with mild wear. Mechanically excellent.
