Manufactured in 1963, the final year of Model 61 production. Blade front and semi-buckhorn rear sights, the Winchester trademark, model, and caliber markings on the left side of the barrel near the chamber, and proper "WP" stamps on the breech and frame. The frame is slotted along the top for sight mounting. Matching serial numbers on the frame and trigger guard, a "5" on the front of the frame, and "WMR" on the left side of the elevator. Fitted with a 17-groove flat bottom forearm and a smooth pistol grip stock with a checkered Winchester Repeating Arms buttplate. With a Winchester box labeled for a Model 61 Magnum and renumbered to match the gun, warranty card, manual, and hanging tag.

Excellent, with 98% plus original blue finish, showing some mild dings and scratches on the barrel and magazine tube, minor spotting on the receiver, and some light overall handling marks. The interior of the frame and trigger guard show mild contact rubbing. The stock is very good, with a few dings and patches of varnish loss. Mild scuffs and stains are present on the box, with some wear and fading of the renumbered end label.
