Manufactured in London in 1855 within the London Model 1851 Navy range with the distinctive London Navy iron grip frame, "-ADDRESS COL. COLT. LONDON-" barrel address, standard cone and hammer notch sights, London proofmarks on the barrel and cylinder, "COLTS/PATENT" marking on the frame, standard cylinder roll-scene, and all matching serial numbers, including the grip which has the serial number hand marked in ink in the back strap mortise.

Very good plus with a mix of 25% faded original blue and brown patina on the barrel, slight traces of original finish elsewhere, smooth gray and brown patina on the balance, some minor oxidation, and general mild marks and scratches. A series of scrapes on the right side of the otherwise fine grip, with some dents. Mechanically fine.
