Description:

Manufactured from 1876 to 1891. Fitted with Rocky Mountain front, elevation adjustable rear and modern Vernier tang sights, single trigger, and smooth stock and forearm. The falling block action has the rarely seen factory nickel plating. The buttplate, forearm and barrel are numbered to the gun.

Rating Definition:

Very fine. The barrel retains 75% original blue finish with thinning on the balance. 70% original nickel finish remains on the receiver with the balance a smooth gray patina. The wood is fine with a shallow drill hole on the comb and a number of mostly minor dings and scratches. The action needs work as the hammer does not hold at the full cock position.
