Description:

Manufactured by Randy Butters of Homer, Michigan, who began making spurs in 1985. They show the Butters mark on the left spur near the medial button. They feature engraved silver card suit double mountings on the upturned heel bands, elaborately engraved swinging buttons, "gal-leg" shanks mounted in brass, bronze, and silver, and toothed rowels with two jingle bobs each. The elaborately stamped basket weave pattern straps are marked "Leddy/Foster/Saddle Shop" and feature engraved and bronze inlaid buckles also made by Butters. Heel band width: 1" Shanks: 2 5/8" Rowel diameter: 2 1/4" Heel opening: 3 3/8".

Rating Definition:

Excellent overall, retaining most of the original brown finish and bright silver mountings with only the slightest handling marks or wear. The straps have sharp stamping and appear unworn as they have not been connected to the lateral buttons.
