Manufactured in 1891. The top of the barrel is marked with the two-line address/patent dates just ahead of the rear sight. The left side of the barrel is marked "32 Cal", and below that are several British proof marks as well as the "crown/V" proof mark on the left upper side of the receiver at the breech. The Rampant Colt is marked on the side. The top of the bolt is engraved "R B. RODDA & Co. London & Calcutta." The leaf of the rear sight is graduated to 900 yards. Saddle ring and staple are mounted on the left side of the receiver. Checkered forearm and plain straight grip stock with a iron buttplate. Consecutively numbered to the previous two lots.

Rating Definition:

Very fine. The barrel retains 80% original blue finish mixed with smooth brown patina. The magazine tube retains 98% blue finish with a few small dings on the bottom. The receiver retains 90% of the original high polish blue finish with semi-circular wear from the saddle ring. The trigger guard has 50% original finish mixed with a smooth brown patina. The lower tang has finish loss that looks like it flaked off. The wood is fine with numerous scattered moderate pressure dents visible on the buttstock, a number of shallow divots on the right side, and a few minor scratches. All markings are clear and crisp. Mechanically very good.
