Manufactured in 1982. Blued chopper lump barrels with single bead sight on a smooth solid rib, ejectors, 3 inch chambers, full/improved modified chokes and top of right barrel signed "AUG. FRANCOTTE-LIEGE/MADE IN BELGIUM." The action features full coverage floral scroll engraving, and the lock plates feature detailed engraved and relief gold inlaid game bird scenes, including six inlaid bobwhite quail flying through southern pines on the right side, 5 inlaid mourning doves in a farmstead scene on the left, and a single inlaid woodcock with "AUG. FRANCOTTE" in a banner on the underside of the action. Additional scrollwork is also found on the break lever, trigger guard and lower tang. The action has double triggers with the front trigger articulated and a manual tang safety with gold inlaid "SAFE." The engraving is signed "R. COLLINET" on the bottom of the action near the trigger guard. Barrels, forearm hardware and lower tang are numbered to gun. The walnut forearm and straight grip stock have very fine figuring and multi-point checkering. The forearm hardware is engraved, and the buttstock has a gold oval escutcheon engraved with the monogram "TGK" and Pachmayr butt pad. Stock measurements: drop at comb 1 inch, drop at heel 1 1/2 inches, length of pull 14 1/2 inches, weight 5 lbs. 10 oz.

Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus blue and casehardened finishes showing limited light spotting on the barrels, minimal handling evidence and crisp stock checkering. Mechanically excellent.
