Manufactured without sights with standard Sako markings and Finnish proofs. Redfield scope bases and Leupold scope on the receiver with a jewelled bolt and knurled bolt handle knob. The floorplate is engraved with a light scroll pattern with a silver inlaid ram's head in the center. The elaborately carved stock is by Swedish born, master stock maker Nils Hultgren and features a highly detailed carved ram's head at the forend cap, a wolf on the right, bobcat on the left, and a detailed mountain goat on the right side of the butt. The animals are rendered in detailed high relief against textured ebony backgrounds. The wolf and bobcat scenes are signed "N.H." and the goat is signed "N. HULTGREN". The stock itself features deeply carved basket weave checkering with scroll borders, oak leaf and acorn carved accents, matching carved grip cap, raised cheekpiece, and vented White Line recoil pad. Very good. 98% plus original blue finish remains with some light edge wear and small scratches at the muzzle, and handling marks throughout. The stock is good with a visible repaired break at the wrist, crazing varnish, small dings, and some deeper dents throughout. Mechanically excellent. Scope is very good with some small scratches and dings and clear optics.
