Manufactured in 1955, and subsequently customized and converted to left hand configuration by Griffin & Howe. With a ramped beaded blade front sight and no provisions for a rear sight, barrel marked "No. 2354 GRIFFIN & HOWE INC. NEW YORK", standard receiver markings, receiver and bolt reconfigured for left hand operation, and Leupold Vari-X 3x9 compact scope. Checkered pistol grip stock with ebony forend cap, blue steel grip cap, raised cheekpiece, and silver initial oval inscribed "JHN", and checkered steel buttplate.

Very fine as modified and refinished by Griffin & Howe with 95% of the high quality blue finish remaining, some light edge and muzzle wear, and small handling marks. The stock is also fine with crisp checkering, and some small dings. Mechanically very good. Scope is excellent with clear optics.
