This very fine Belgian Browning Superposed includes two separate factory letters. The first dated "January 20, 1984" addressed to a Thomas J. Koessl states that an order had been recently shipped of .410 bore and 28 gauge Superposed shotguns in grades I through Midas. Production of 28 gauge and .410 bore Superposed shotguns was discontinued at Herstal in early 1983, and the final supply of parts was held in reserve by Browning Arms specifically to fill this order. The second factory letter confirms the serial number of this particular gun, grade, barrel length, chokes, and March 15, 1984, date of shipment to Thomas J. Koessl Inc. Single steel bead sight on the matte vent rib, standard markings and Belgian proofs, 3 inch chambers with ejectors, and full/modified chokes. Standard Pointer Grade engraving with dog and bird scenes on the sides, borders of fine, tight scroll, single gold washed trigger, and tang safety/selector switch. The receiver is signed "R.CAMPA" on the right and "J.PIROTTE" on the left. Checkered forearm and straight grip stock with a plastic Browning buttplate. Stock measurements are: drop at comb 1 3/8 inches; drop at heel 2 1/8 inches; length of pull 14 1/4 inches.

Near new with a few light handling marks, crisp checkering, and a few small dings on the wood. Mechanically excellent.
