Description:

Manufactured from 1868 to 1882. Top strap groove sight, with the left side of the frame marked "MY FRIEND". Seven-shot unfluted cylinder, with matching numbers on the cylinder, face of cylinder pin and frame. Frame is decorated with floral scroll engraving, with starbursts on the recoil shields and a checkered panel on the rear of the solid grip.

Rating Definition:

Very good, with most of the original silver plating gone, revealing the attractive antique brass underneath and the cylinder having mostly faded to a smooth grey patina. The hammer shows flashes of vibrant case colors and the engraving is crisp. Mechanically excellent.
