Manufactured in February of 1942 and featuring a nigh-complete set of proper Winchester components for that timeframe. Blade front and adjustable peep rear sights, the latter with open-pointed arrows and "BATTLE RANGE" on the drums, fitted with a Winchester barrel, D28287-1WRA bolt, C46025-WRA trigger guard, D28290-WRA trigger housing, C46008-1WRA hammer, C46015-4WRA safety and uncut D35382-WRA operating rod. Smooth pistol grip stock, with a faint boxed cartouche and "crossed cannon" on the left and a checkered steel buttplate. An unsigned parts inventory is provided, which notes the presence of a hand-cut stock and an early round steep-angle firing pin (a later firing pin is also included). M1 specification sheet included.

Fine as restored to WWII specification with 80% arsenal refurbished parkerization remaining, with some mild wear and handling marks, and the sanded, re-oiled stock shows some dents and evidence of sanding. Mechanically excellent.
