Approximately 23,000 of these revolvers were manufactured from 1877-1888. Features half moon blade front sight and groove rear sight with barrel marked "E. REMINGTON & SONS. ILION. N.Y." The serial number is marked at the top and bottom of the cylinder housing.

Excellent overall, retains 98% plus original finish with some scattered light spotting and minor scratches and crisp grip checkering overall. Mechanically excellent.

An estimated total of 3,000 of these revolvers were manufactured from 1875-1877 and were a major competitor with Colt in the metallic cartridge pocket revolver market. This revolver shows the standard Remington one-line address and patent markings on top of the barrel rib and standard features.

Very fine, retains 97% plus original nickel finish with a few very small patches of smooth brown patina and some scattered light handling marks and scratches. The grips are very good with numerous light dings and scratches. Mechanically fine.
