Manufactured in 1943. Blade and flat top notch sights, the "USS" monogram and "U.S. & S. Co./SWISSVALE, PA. U.S.A." on the left side of the slide, a Robert Downie "RCD" inspected frame, a thin checkered hammer, short stamped trigger, long grip safety, arched checkered mainspring housing, reinforced Keyes Fiber grips, full blue "R" marked magazine and a High Standard barrel. A plain brown "Kraft" style box is included, with a matching ink stamped number on the side of the lid.

Fine, with 60% of the faded original Du-Lite finish, with areas of lighter gray patina, bright edge wear, handling marks and some light spotting. The grips are very good, with some scuffs, flat spots, and possible replaced screws. The box is very good. Mechanically excellent.
