Manufactured in 1944. Blade front and flat top rear sights, with the two-line, two-block markings divided by the Rampant Colt on the left side of the slide and a "G.H.D." inspected frame with "F/VP" and "65" on the trigger guard. Fitted with a wide checkered hammer, short stamped trigger, long grip safety, arched serrated mainspring housing, reinforced Colt grips, unmarked full blue magazine, and a "COLT 45 AUTO" marked barrel.

Fine, with 75% of the original parkerized finish, showing areas of brown patina, bright edge wear, and mild handling marks overall. A number of small dings are visible on the right side of the pistol. The grips are very good, with some dings and dents on the flat spots. Mechanically excellent.
