Intended for issue with Bren guns used as anti-aircraft weapons, the Bren drum was designed to be used with a set of elevated A-A sights; the regular offset sights are blocked by its mass. Using the drum required installation of an adaptor (included) in place of the dust cover, which acted as the front bearing point for the drum, as well as use of a large winding key (one included) to apply proper spring tension and a hardwood/steel base piece (one included) for loading and tensioning. The four drums are matte finished, with a set of dummy rounds to act as the followers, and fit in a hardwood case (label absent from interior) along with the included accessories.

Very good overall. The case and the contents show mild wear and tear. None of the magazines have been tested, but they appear to be in good order.
