Description:

Dated "HEMBRUG 1916" on the receiver, with a set of blade and notch sights, extended upper handguard, and "M2107" on the receiver ring next to the serial number. Matching numbers are present on multiple components. Smooth pistol grip stock with "HEMBRUG/(crown/W)/1940" on the right side.

Rating Definition:

Very fine as arsenal refurbished, with 80% of the blue finish, showing areas of brown spotting and patina, a few patches of light pitting visible on the magazine, and mild handling marks. The stock is also very fine, with some scuffs and dents. Mechanically excellent.

Description:

Dated "STEYR 1897" on the left side of the receiver, with a fixed blade front and tangent rear sights, and a smooth straight wrist stock marked "HEMBRUG/19(crown/W) 25" on the right side of the buttstock.

Rating Definition:

Fine, with 70% of the original blue finish. Brown spotting is concentrated on the barrel and barrel band, and lighter on the receiver and trigger guard, with a mixed brown/gray patina on the bolt. The stock is very good, with some dents and scuffs overall, as well as some hairline cracks in the upper handguard. The firing pin can slip off the sear with the safety engaged, otherwise mechanically good.
