Description:

Constructed from black wool, with a one-piece eagle/cockade patch on the front, functional two button chinstrap, and a small aluminum oak leaf badge on the left side of the ear flap. The interior is lined with gray rayon and marked "H43/R.Btr.-Nr./0/0460/0034" and "56". The flap badge is from the 1st SS Panzer Division, as seen in "Field Uniforms of German Army Panzer Forces in World War II", in usage pg. 71-72, and in the badge chart on pg. 78.

Rating Definition:

Very good, with some mild wear and handling marks overall, along with some mild wear and staining on the interior. The form is made to perfection and will keep its outer appearance without interior support.
