Originally a commercial Blank Chamber Luger, this pistol has been extensively modified, being notably shortened in both length and height without sacrificing the distinctive profile of the Luger pistol. Blade front and notch rear sights, "DWM" monogrammed toggle, "crown/N" on the left side of the chamber, and "MSTR" on the left frame rail, indicating installation of the Martz Safe Toggle Release device. The frame is marked "JVM" and "191" beneath the side plate. Fine straw color is present on the small components, a bright niter blue on the pins and screws, attractive smooth-bordered grips with matching numbers and "JVM" and "GKS" (George Sarkisian) stamps on the interior, and a matte gray finished magazine marked "1/JVM" on the hardwood base.

Very fine as professionally built by John Martz, with 98% plus quality rust blue finish, showing some light handling marks and a bit of edge wear. The firing pin is numbered "23", and the side plate "42". The small parts are brightly finished, with a few mild pressure dents on the otherwise excellent grips. Mechanically excellent.
