Description:

John Martz is best known for his alterations and upgrades of Luger and P-38 pistols. Manufactured using a combination of new-made components and vintage Luger parts, this pistol follows the overall pattern of a Second Model Navy Luger and integrates the Martz Safe Toggle Release upgrade. Two-position notch rear sight with "100" and "200" graduations. Commercial style markings ("crown/N" proofs, "GERMANY" on the front of the frame) are present, with an undated chamber and "MSTR" on the left rail. Fitted with a pair of checkered grips and a nickel finished magazine with a hardwood base. A copy of the original invoice from John V. Martz is included.

Rating Definition:

Very fine as professionally built by John Martz with 98% of the brushed satin nickel finish, showing some light handling marks and spotting. Some of the components are unnumbered or mixed numbered. The grips are also very fine with sharp checkering. Mechanically very good.
