Manufactured in 1990. The Custom Shop end label confirms the configuration, including "Type 'B' Master engraved," "Bird's Head configured grip," and the grip material. The standard markings and sights are among the engraving patterns. The grips are numbered to the gun, and the grip frame has "BH 54" and George Spring's initials on the left in addition to the matching serial numbers.

Excellent with 98% plus bright original nickel plating and heat blue finish with light handling and storage type marks and very faint cylinder rotation marks. The grips are very good and have mild dings and scratches and attractive natural tones and grain. Mechanically excellent. The box is good with moderate storage wear including a peeling end label, some tears, and edge wear.
