This set of consecutively serialized revolvers was manufactured in 1970 with standard markings and features. The factory letter confirms the pair were shipped in the present configuration and were engraved with class "C" engraving by Master Engraver Robert Burt and shipped with a presentation case as a pair to Steinberg Sports Center in Baton Rouge, LA, on July 18, 1972, and processed on factory order 12197. They are excellent examples of Burt's preferred American style scroll with Germanic flair. This set of revolvers is 1 of only 5 consecutive sets that were done by Burt. Only two other revolvers done by him share this configuration and level of engraving making them exceedingly rare. Included is a Colt marked hardwood presentation case with red lining.

Near new, with only the slightest handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The case is very good with some scattered minor handling/storage marks.
