Manufactured in 1960 or 1961. Fixed blade front and frame notch rear sights, short two-line address on top of the barrel, model and caliber marking on the left, two-line patent dates and Rampant Colt on left side of frame, and smooth grips. With original box. The truly unique aspect of this revolver is that Colt only made these for one year in a single manufacturing run, and this specific revolver carries the "milestone" serial number 500!

Excellent. The revolver retains 98% plus original finish with some fading on the grip straps, forward of the trigger and some thinning in the cylinder notches. The frame shows virtually all of the original casehardened finish with some light handling marks overall. Grips are near new with light pressure dents. The box is very good with minor edge wear.
