Manufactured in 1984 with blackpowder frame, and factory embellished with class "C" American style floral scroll and punch dot background engraving which is dark filled for contrast with the finish, nitre blue screws, and gold plating. All of this, including the grips, is confirmed by the box label. "John Adams Master Engraver" is also handwritten on the box label. The grips are numbered to the gun. Includes the original shipping box and a Colt blue box.

Excellent overall, retains 99% original gold plating with some minor scratches and dings (mostly on the grip), a faint cylinder drag line, and attractive grain pattern on the grips. Mechanically excellent. The boxes are very good with some light handling/storage wear.
