The included factory lettered states the confirms the serial number, caliber, barrel length, blue finish, grips and that the revolver was engraved by Jan Gwinell. The revolver was shipped as one of two to Aeromarine, Inc. of Birmingham, Alabama, on September 29, 1982. The revolver has a factory "B" grade floral scroll and punch dot engraving on the barrel, cylinder, frame, trigger guard bow, butt and top and bottom of the back strap along with standard markings. The frame is casehardened. It has polished hammer sides, and the remainder is blue. Matching numbers on the left side of the grip straps with "JAN L GWINELL. COLT ENG. 6-8-1982" on the butt. Fitted with smooth grips numbered to gun featuring brass Colt Custom Shop medallions. Complete with the original "wood grain" box numbered to the gun.
