Manufactured in 1934. Fixed sights, with the two-line Colt address and patent dates on the right side of the slide, and the caliber and model markings on the left. The trigger guard is marked "VP" and "3", with the Rampant Colt on the side plate.

Very fine, with 85% plus of the original blue finish showing areas of gray and brown patina on the grip straps, bright edge wear and scattered handling marks. The revarnished grips are fine, with some chipping around the screw and mild dings. Mechanically excellent.
