Manufactured in 1887, the first year of production. Single brass bead sight on an unmarked Damascus barrel, with cylinder choke and 2 3/4 inch chamber. Large "WRACo" monogram on the left side of the border line engraved receiver, three digit serial number on the underside, and three line address and patent marking on the lower tang. Fancy checkered two piece slab forearm and round knob pistol grip stock with attractive tiger stripe pattern and checkered steel buttplate. Stock measurements are: drop at comb 2 1/4 inches; drop at heel 2 5/8 inches; length of pull 12 3/4 inches.

Very good. The barrel has and overall gray/brown patina with visible Damascus patterning, surface spotting, and some traces of light pitting. The receiver is a mostly gray patina with some rough spotting on the right side, well defined markings and engraving on the sides, and scattered small dings. The wood is good as revarnished. The left forearm slab has been period repaired with a visible diagonal crack at the center, mostly worn checkering, and dents throughout. Mechanically very good.
