Manufactured in 1926 in scarce full octagon barrel and half magazine special order configuration. Dovetail blade and elevation adjustable rear sights on a barrel marked with the two-line address/patent marking, Model 92 legend and "44 WCF" on the upper left flat. Equipped with a Lyman tang peep sight. The three-line Winchester trade mark is on the upper tang. Smooth straight grip stock with crescent buttplate.

Excellent, retaining 95% original blue finish with some scattered patches of brown patina and thinning and high edge wear on the buttplate. The wood is very fine with a small reglued chip visible near the upper tang and minor handling evidence. Mechanically excellent.
