Manufactured in 1926. Fixed sights, with "45 COLT" on the left side of the barrel, one-line Hartford address on top, and the two-line, three-date patents next to the uncircled Rampant Colt on the frame. Matching numbers are present on the right side of the grip frame, with a pair of checkered and matching hand-numbered Rampant Colt imprinted grips. The last two digits "79" of the serial number stamped on the rear face of the cylinder.

Very good plus, with 40% of the original blue finish, with a dark brown patina on the grip frame, mixed brown and gray on the barrel and cylinder, scattered shallow pitting and mild handling marks. The casehardened components retain traces of bright color in the protected areas, with fading and spotting on the remainder. The grips are good, with a mended chip on the heel of the right panel along with some light nicks and scratches. The hammer sits a bit low in the safety notch, otherwise mechanically very good.
