Manufactured in 1879. Standard Colt markings, cylinder numbered to the gun, and fitted with desirable, early production checkered walnut grips.

Fine, retaining 60% plus bright original high polish blue finish with the balance a smooth brown-gray patina. The grips are very fine with much of the original varnish, some minor handling marks and crisp checkering overall. Mechanically fine.
