This is the third and final "Russian Model" type revolver Smith & Wesson delivered to the Russian government. The S&W Cyrillic rib marking lacks a serial number and has a double headed Russian eagle and Russian inspector marks. The frame has a Russian "1874" marking. The Russians referred to these revolvers as the "Cavalry Model" or "1874 Model." The cylinder is numbered to a different gun. Matching numbers are on butt, right grip panel, barrel and barrel latch.

Rating Definition:

Good. 50% dull arsenal refinished blue remains with the balance a mixture of smooth brown and gray patinas and some minor pitting. The reoiled grips are also good with minor dings. Mechanically excellent.
