Manufactured by Manufacture Francaise d'Armes et Cycles de St. Etienne based on Paul Giffard's 1889 patent. It has adjustable target sights, "ST. ETIENNE" inlaid in gold on the top of the barrels, the maker's marks to the left and right, floral engraving on the action, single set trigger, and checkered walnut grips.

Good with mottled gray patina, minor oxidation, crisp markings and engraving, bold gold inlay, and minor scratches and marks. The grips are very good and have mostly crisp checkering, minor dings and scuffs, and some scrapes in the checkering on the left. The action is mechanically excellent.
